Behaviour change for workplaces and individuals

Knowing what to do was never the problem.

Balancing in Motion works with companies and individuals who already know what they should be doing, and helps them actually do it, using movement, coaching and recovery.

The knowing-doing gap

Most wellness effort does not last.

A company wellness day gets an attendance number nobody wants to put in a report. A personal health plan gets quietly abandoned by week three. Most people already know they should move more, eat better and manage stress better. What is usually missing is a way to make the change hold.

75%

of employees worldwide do not use the wellness programmes their employer already pays for

Where to start

Five ways we work with people.

How it works

The same method, whether it is one person or two hundred.

01

Understand

We start with what is actually driving the pattern, not just the habit everyone notices.

02

Shift

Small, specific changes, introduced one at a time, so they hold up during a normal working week.

03

Sustain

Ongoing check-ins, so progress does not unravel the moment a programme ends.

Proof

People come back, and they do not feel judged.

That is what comes up most often, from corporate feedback and from individual clients. It matters more than it sounds. A company with a poorly attended wellness programme needs to see that people return. Someone who has tried and failed before needs to know they will not be made to feel small for it.

Who is behind it

Run by someone who has done this for twenty years.

Chantelle van den Berg has spent two decades across fitness, dance and corporate wellbeing, and recently completed a Level 5 Diploma in Health Coaching. Balancing in Motion is built on what she kept noticing: the people she worked with rarely needed more information. They needed a way to make change hold.
